The Greina Plateau

This challenging and long route will satisfy you with its natural treasures. The Greina Plateau, located between Canton Ticino and Canton Graubünden, can only be reached on foot from Campo Blenio and reaches an altitude of over 2,200 m. This circular route allows visitors to admire the landscape peculiarities that give the region an appearance similar to an Alpine tundra. Numerous streams and torrents flow undisturbed, creating unique ponds, meanders, bogs and marshes.

Landfogto (BlenioBike)

The name of the route is inspired by the ancient bailiffs (landfogti) who, on behalf of the sovereign cantons, administered the Blenio bailiwick from 1515 for over three centuries. The route leads through the middle Blenio valley via Lottigna, where the monumental landfogti palace from 1500 is located, now home to one of the canton's 10 regional ethnographic museums.

Family (BlenioBike)

"Family", an ideal route for a family excursion. The route starts in Dongio on the church square; it continues northwards, at first skirting the suggestive grottos of Dongio, then pedalling along the "Satro" dirt track leading to Acquarossa. Once through the Lottigna campsite, continue along the Piano di Castro, cross the bridge over the Brenno river and descend southwards through the villages of Prugiasco and Comprovasco.
