This route was created by Blenio Bike, the reference association in the Blenio Valley for the promotion of mountain bike activities.

“Family”, an ideal route for a family excursion. The route starts in Dongio on the church square; it continues northwards, at first skirting the suggestive grottos of Dongio, then pedalling along the “Satro” dirt track leading to Acquarossa. Once through the Lottigna campsite, continue along the Piano di Castro, cross the bridge over the Brenno river and descend southwards through the villages of Prugiasco and Comprovasco. Still on comfortable paved secondary roads, you reach the Romanesque church of San Remigio in Boscero. Continue along the plain that leads to Motto and return to the starting point by crossing the hamlet of Marogno. The route does not present any technical difficulties; however, it is advisable to watch out for smaller bikers when crossing the crossroads and along a short stretch of cantonal road in the locality of Acquarossa.
