The ruins of the Serravalle Castle

Take a step back in time by walking among the ruins of Serravalle Castle, the third most historically important castle in Canton Ticino.

Its first written mention dates back to 1162 when the Lord of Blenio Alcherio da Torre, appointed Imperial Avogard of the Valley by Frederick Barbarossa, was in control of it.
