The Blenio Ethnographic Museum and Ca da Rivöi

The Blenio Valley Historical and Ethnographic Museum is located in Lottigna, in a splendid 16th century building.

On the facade you can admire frescoes with the coats of arms of the Landfogti of Uri, Schwyz and Nidwalden who governed the Blenio territory between 1501 and 1598. Inside the museum you will find further frescoes with coats of arms of the families of the valley, objects related to agriculture, sacred art and winemaking.

In addition to the Lottigna location, the museum also extends to Olivone in the Cà da Rivöi, where you can discover further historical objects within the walls of a typical Blenio dwelling dating from 1658.
