Luzzone Dam Climb

The artificial climbing route on the Luzzone Dam, with its 165 meters of height, is the longest in the world and is located in the upper Blenio Valley.

It is accessible from May to October and equipped with more than 600 resin holds, divided into 5 pitches and protected by bolts.

Its frequent exposure to sun and weather, together with the demanding arrangement of the holds, makes the climb suitable mainly for experienced climbers who master both progression and belay techniques.

For those wishing to climb this route in complete safety, it is possible to contact qualified professionals through the Ticino Alpine Guides Association. More information and contacts are available at guidealpineticino.ch.
